Leadership award

What is RLLA?
The Rugby League Leaders Award is the first step of the coaching, match officials and volunteer pathway to help develop the future volunteers of Rugby League.

Who is it for?
The Award is for people aged 16+ at either a club or educational setting who are interested in learning more about Rugby League.

What does the award consist of?
The course is roughly 6 hours in length consisting of Introduction, Coaching Method, Practical Sessions, Match Officials and Tag Rugby Festival Organisation.

The benefits?
The award offers a great opportunity for participants to learn and practice sports leadership kills in a Rugby League setting. On completion of the course all students receive a certificate and are accredited by the RFL.

The course reveals the opportunities available to volunteers in Rugby League in London & the South. Past volunteers have gone on to participate at Regional Tag Festivals, Champion School’s tournaments and high profile events such as the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.
