Mini & Junior Rugby League

Over the past five years Youth, Junior and Mini Rugby League in London and the South East has grown rapidly to span Greater London and 6 other Counties, boasting 25 clubs and over 80 teams. In 2010 the region will have over 1900 club players in its development system, stemming from our primary and secondary school programs that engage in excess thousands of participants annually.

Playing opportunities exist for junior players from the age of 6 to 19, when participants are ready to make the transition to open age amateur Rugby League.

London Amateur Rugby League

The London League was founded in 1965, historically running as a winter program accommodating those who had brought their passion of the game southwards from the traditional rugby league heartlands.

In recent years, the competition has switched to a summer season in line with the professional game, and now operates as a development league for new and social clubs or clubs who are unable to commit to regular fixture such as the Armed forces and Met Police.

Rugby League Conference

The Rugby League Conference (RLC) started life as a concept in 1997, bringing together 12 amateur clubs based in the 'non-traditional' areas of Great Britain. The key difference between the Rugby League Conference and other leagues is that it is played during the summer months, and this opens up opportunities for many people to take up the sport who are engaged in other sports during the winter.
