Course Programme
In order to coach Rugby League you need to hold a current coaching qualification. The RFL supports the UK Coaching Framework and all our awards are based on this national agreement. These UK Coaching Certificates (UKCC) are nationally recognised awards within sport and meet National Occupational Standards.

2012 London and the South course program:
LEVEL 1 COURSE DESCRIPTOR:
The RFL has launched an exciting new UKCC Level 1 coaching course from April 2011.
The course is run over 2 days with a minimum of a month in between days one and two, allowing the candidate coach to put into practice the skills learnt on day one at their respective clubs.
The course is aimed for coaches working within Mini/Mod/Mod Transition game (U7-U11), with a great emphasis on promoting movement and decision making skills within activities, although coaches working within youth (U12-U18) age groups would find the course of benefit.
