Coaching Opportunities

Several coaching opportunities exist within London Rugby League:

COACHING AND MANAGER OPPORTUNITIES-LONDON ORIGIN SERIES 2010:

The Hard Rock Café U/18s Origin program is drawing near in which the NORTH play the SOUTH. From this fixture, the London and South East Regional team will be selected to play at the National Carnival to represent the region and also push England 18’s selection.
 Exciting opportunities arise and applications are invited for the following positions:
• Manager
• Head Coach
• Assistant Coach

These positions need to be filled for both North and South.

TIMELINE:

South Origin trial details are as follows:

Date:  Saturday 4th September
Venue:  Greenwich Admirals RLFC
  Well Hall
  Kidbrooke Lane
  Blackheath
  SE9 6TE
Time:  12 noon (11.30 meet)
Players from Greenwich, Croydon-Brixton, Elmbridge and Medway are to trial for the South.

North Origin trial details are as follows:

Date:  Saturday 4th September
Venue:  Hemel Stags RLFC
  Peninne Way
  Hemel Hempstead
  HP2 5UD
Time:  11am (10.30 meet)
Players from Staines, Hemel, St Albans, Eastern Rhinos, Skolars, Brentwood and Hainault are to trial for the North.

U’18’s London Thames Origin Match:      

Date:  Saturday the 25th September.
Venue:  Hemel Stags Rugby League Club
  Penine Way
  Hemel Hempstead
  HP2 5UD
Time:  12:00pm – 15:00pm.
                                                                               
U’18’s National Carnival:                             

Date:  Saturday 16th October.                   
Venue:  Hopwood Hall College
  Rochdale.                    
Time:   TBC.

The Head Coaches for Origin will become Assistant Coaches for Regional, so please ensure that if you are applying for Head Coach please ensure you are available for all the dates.
After the trials and your squads have been selected, it is up to you to plan training that will be convenient for your players.
